"I am a massive foodie, so much I travel the UK on the hunt for the best quality authentic homemade food I can find. After my delivery of afternoon tea from the Plantisserie, I am relieved to say I will no longer be travelling for any baked or sweet goods. I am blown away by the skill, taste, and quality that has gone into every item of food. The rolls where authentic, flakey, perfect cooked and seasoned, finished beautifully. The scones texture was 11/10, hands down the best scone tasted in my entire life. Creamy, crumbly, perfect. The jams were thick but not overly sweet, tangy and flavoursome. Perfect consistency. Battenberg was in a class of its own, the outer pastry was perfection, the ratio of marzipan flavour to inner cake flavours was 11/10. Texture was faultless. Viennese biscuits. Wow. Just wow. I have no words to describe this biscuit. It tastes completely authentic, homemade and again the texture is perfection. (I keep referring to texture as a lot of the time vegan baked goods usually fail with texture). Carrot cake was 13/10. The combination of sponge, cream frosting and flavours made the experience what it was, and that is one-of-a-kind. I understand it seems I have an affiliation with the Plantisserie based off of my glowing review, but I can assure you I don't, I simply appreciate art when I see/taste it. And this is art at its finest. The skill of the patisserie is evident through the taste and aesthetics of her food. I can't way to more! 🤤 Thank you for this experience."
